I grew up in Bristol and first discovered a love of art at school but despite taking A-Levels in Maths and Physics alongside Art and Art History, I did not combine my creative interests with a scientific approach until studying Fine Art at Leeds University.

In an effort to understand the nature of information and our relationships with its various forms, my work focused on the seemingly inconsequential and elevated it's subjects by means of mapping, dissecting, measuring and listing.

After graduation, the financial uncertainties which the art world had to offer prompted me to seek employment in the insurance field whilst I exercised my creative side developing property.  I became a Management Information Analyst until stepping out of my career to start a family.

After our move to Gibraltar in 2010 I was able to make time to paint and from there turned my thoughts back to the concepts which first captured my attention.  My current body of work is a continuation of that journey.
