The Anchored Boats series documents the effects which passing currents have on boats anchored out in the bays surrounding Gibraltar.  Time delay films I have made from the top of the rock appear to show the boats dancing in unison when played back at an increased speed.

My drawings take slices from these films and layer each instance on opaic paper resulting in those recorded at earlier moments becoming less visible as each layer is added.
